Amy - this is ridiculous! why would they invite a pop star to perform as marius? a;; he's going to bring to the show is petty diva demands and screaming fan girls who won't be able to shut up during the actual performance!

Genial - Perhaps he should live among the 'homeless' for the duration of his sentence (rather than the one night on a steam grate like his father). Also, I think he should be forced to back up his claim that our government imploded the World Trade Center. What a guy!

Michael Wright - Jenna, Nice article and thanks for posting it. I added this column to my "media coverage" for this event on my website. It sure does sound like it was a great weekend, and must have been a thrill to be part of it all with the mayor unveiling the "walk of fame," the Elbo Room, crowds on the same beach, and Connie singing the city's signature song that was written by Howie Greenfield and Neil Sedaka in just two days!

Astarte Boman - It is time for the health industry to acknowledge "Mens Health". Most of the media is about women and children. This creates an inbalance in our modern world. If men were treated as special as women, I believe the world would be a safer and happier place. The media should pay more attention to the male and female rather than showing picures of mothers with their children. This is a conditioned state which should be made aware of and overcome in the press. Magazines should always include the father, mother and their offspring instead of just showing the woman and child. Also marriage pictures are usually about the bride and this downplays the importance of the groom. Men are very sensitive to the way the public perceives them. They also need to be appreciated and understood in ways which are true and valued. If men were to get more attention, they would feel a responsibility to taking better care of their appearance and health. Instead of showing men to be inadequate, we should show their ability to make things happen and thus be honored more. The tv commercials always make the women smarter and in charge rather than the men to be shown as intelligent and caring.
