And finally Rosa's Little Jar of Fear by Bekah Brunstetter, directed by Dominic D'Andrea. A young girl named Rosa (Anna Kull) is in an airport, sitting and waiting for her mother, who's been taken away by security a day ago. But she maintains her calm with a little jar into which she vomits all her fear (given out to most children). In the waiting area, she meets a John Ramsey Jr. (Jeff Pucillo), who's trying to get on the flight she's going to be on. A flight attendant (Kelley Rae O'Donnell) is consistently upbeat in front of Rosa, but lets her guard down to John once Rosa is dispatched onto the plane. O'Donnell is an especial standout here.
Deb O's scenic design is great for all of the plays, with the novel idea of piling up in full view of the audience the set pieces from each previous play, which slowly becomes an ominous heap behind the action. James Clotfelter's lighting design and Daniel Kluger's sound design are both quite impressive, going the extra mile for unusual effects.
