THE LOPSIDED COMPANY was formed to produce book readings and showcases for the works of Alex Bond. Readings and a Showcase of Lopsided, Ms. Bond?s play about breast cancer survivors were produced in NYC. A reading of Morning, Noon and Night in Central Park was done in NYC before going to Massachusetts for the EMACT Festival where it was a finalist. Readings from Ms. Bond?s book LATE NIGHTS WITH THE BOYS: confessions of a leather bar chanteuse have been done in NYC, Provincetown, Dallas, and San Francisco. Whenever possible, the company tries to donate part or full proceeds from events to Gay health related groups.
LATE NIGHTS WITH THE BOYS will be presented at Under St. Marks (94 Saint Marks Place, between 1st Ave & Ave A). Reading dates are Wednesday, February 24th at 6pm; Saturday, February 27th at 7pm; Monday, March 1st at 9pm; Friday, March 5th at 6pm & Sunday, March 7th at 2:30pm.
