HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER Belatedly Unveils 'Fudgetaboutit' Dessert at Tasti D-Lite, 10/11

The cast of Off-Broadway's newest comedy HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, will unveil the dessert treat Fudgetaboutit tomorrow, October 11th at 5:30 PM at the Times Square Tasti D-Lite, 1588 Broadway (between 47th & 48th St.) Postponed from last week, the debut of Fudgetaboutit will result in the dessert being made available exclusively at that location every Friday through the end of the month. There will also be an in-store raffle to win two tickets to HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER and a $25 Tasti Treat Card.

HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, written and performed by Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, is currently in previews with an official opening date of October 17th at Sofia's Downstairs Theater in the heart of Times Square.

You too can experience the privilege, respect and air of superiority enjoyed by millions who call themselves New Yorkers. But it requires training, even if you were born here. Under the direction of OBIE Award winner Robert Ross Parker, the hilarious new comedy HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER shows audiences everything they ever needed to know about what it takes to be a real New Yorker, or at least not stand out as a tourist. Actors/Comedians and licensed NYC tour guides, Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, take you on a whirlwind comedic romp filled with stories from the world's largest landfill in Staten Island to the home of the Bronx Bombers. HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER is produced Off-Broadway by CRC Productions and Marie B Productions. The playing schedule is Thursday and Friday evenings at 7:30 PM with matinees Saturday at 2 PM.
