Hallie Foote and More Join Primary Stages' HIM

Primary-Stages-Announces-Casting-of-World-Premier-of-Daisy-Footes-HIM-Featuring-Hallie-Foote-and-More-925-1028-20010101

Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) continues their celebration of the Foote familly legacy with the world premiere of of HIM by Daisy Foote. This production, the second of Primary Stages' 28th season will feature Tony Award nominee HAllie Foote (Harrison, TX…, Dividing the Estate) Tim Hopper (Present Laughter, The Dying Gaul, Steppenwolf), Adam LeFevre (The Doctor's Dilemma), and Adina Verson (The Winter's Tale at Yale Rep). Helmed by Obie Award-winning director Evan Yionoulis (Three Days of Rain, Violet Hour), HIM runs September 25 – October 28 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Opening night is Tuesday, October 9.

In the tradition of great American plays, Daisy Foote explores the institution of the American family in HIM. Two siblings struggling to keep the family store afloat must decide which is a priority: their father's final wishes or their financial stability. It's a choice that could tear them apart.

HIM is the second production in the Primary Stages celebration of the Foote family legacy, following HARRISON, TX: Three Plays by Horton Foote. The production, which also features HAllie Foote, runs through September 15 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters.

HIM features a scenic design by Marion Williams, costume design by Teresa Snider-Stein, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, and original music and sound design by Broken Chord.

HIM plays a limited engagement September 25 – October 28 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street). Opening night is Tuesday, October 9 at 7pm. Performances are Tuesday & Thursday at 7:00pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm & 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm. There will be a special Wednesday matinee on October 17 at 2pm and Wednesday evening performances on September 26 and October 3 at 7pm. Single tickets are priced at $70 for all performances.
