The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) announced complete casting today for Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s beloved musical INTO THE WOODS, directed by Timothy Sheader with co-direction by Liam Steel. Ellen Harvey (Cinderella’s Stepmother); Bethany Moore (Stepsister); Jennifer Rias (Stepsister); Sarah Stiles (Little Red Ridinghood); and Kristine Zbornik (Jack’s Mother) complete the cast with Chip Zien, who originated the role of the Baker in the 1987 Broadway production, playing Mysterious Man. 3) Cher Heading to Broadway in New Musical Based on Her Life

Music superstar Cher just announced via Twitter that a musical based on her life is currently in the works. Cher revealed that the show, which is aiming for a Broadway run, will feature two other actresses as younger 'Cher,' with Cher playing the older version of herself. Happy Birthday, Hunter Foster! Foster is perhaps best known for playing "Bobby Strong" in Urinetown, for which he received nominations for an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Lucille Lortel Award. In 2003, Foster starred as "Seymour" in the Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors, for which he received his first Tony Award nomination. Foster also appeared as "Leo Bloom" in The Producers on Broadway, "Ensign Pulver" in Mister Roberts at the Kennedy Center, "Ben" in Modern Orthodox off-Broadway, and "Sam Phillips" in Million Dollar Quartet.
