Jose Roldan is at it again. "Father Forgive me For I Have Sinned" has been selected as a finalist for the 2012 United Solo Festival in NYC. The show will be showcased for one night only on October 24, 2012 at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online HERE or at the door on the night of the event.

"Father Forgive Me For I Have Sinned", is an auto-biographical coming of the age story of a young Latino boy, who grew up in the South Bronx of New York City in the 80's/90's. He shows us just how he tries to identify himself in a world of stereotypes. He introduces you to the most memorable members of his family, from the freestyle queen of the Bronx to his Bruja Tia who has discovered the secret in keeping a man. Jose takes you from the mean streets of the Bronx and the living room of his family's apartment to moments of his self-acceptance. Written and Performed by José Roldan Jr and Directed by Dante Albertie.

The show has been showcased in a number of Solo festivals in NYC including the oldest Solo Festival in the world, The One Festival. José has also been asked to perform his show at various venues including The People's Improv Theater, The Studio Theater and Teatro La Tea.
