Next Tuesday, January 11, 2010 at 10pm, a host of Broadway performers will gather at (Le) Poisson Rouge to celebrate the music of Adam Gwon and the release of the original cast recording of his musical Ordinary Days, which is now available on Ghostlight Records (http://sh-k-boom.com/ordinarydays.shtml).

Just added to the concert are Leslie Kritzer (Sondheim on Sondheim), Andrew Samonsky (South Pacific), Stephen Bogardus (Falsettos), Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde), Geoff Packard (rock of ages), Matt Hydzik (West Side Story) and Marla Mindelle (South Pacific). They join the previously-announced Lisa Brescia, Hunter Foster, Jared Gertner and Kate Wetherhead, who all appeared in the Roundabout Underground's premiere production of Ordinary Days. The show's original Director Marc Bruni and Music Director Vadim Feichtner will also reunite to helm the event. Feichtner and Cathy Venable will play piano.

From the bustling streets to the quiet rooftops, Ordinary Days tells the story of four young New Yorkers whose lives are unexpectedly interconnected by circumstance. The series of funny and fortuitous events in this intimate, fast-paced musical proves that ordinary days can be simply extraordinary. With original music and lyrics by up-and-coming composer Adam Gwon, the album features the original cast Hunter Foster, Lisa Brescia, Kate Wetherhead and Jared Gertner. Ordinary Days is available for theatrical performances in the US and Canada through R&H Theatricals, a division of Rodgers & Hammerstein, an Imagem Company (www.rnh.com). The album is available now on Sh-K-Boom.com, Amazon, iTunes and all other regular music outlets.

Ordinary Days is one of the latest in a series of releases from Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records which highlight the new generation of the musical Theatre World, furthering the label's mission to support and encourage new works and writers. Other recent releases in the new musical theatre genre include Joe Iconis' Things to Ruin, Kerrigan-Lowdermilk's Our First Mistake, Jonathan Reid Gealt's Thirteen Stories Down, Will Van Dyke's Chasing the Day and Scott Burkell and Paul Loesel's (Sorta) Love Songs.
