NIGHT OF THE BUTTERFLY Begins 3/15 At 45 Bleecker St Theater

Stella Cartiano presents Night of the Butterfly, A Musical for Children and Their Adults written by Zack Friedman, with music & lyrics by Dan Kitrosser, additional material provided by Evan Green. Night of the Butterfly will begin performances on Sundays beginning March 15 at 11AM & 1PM and will run through April 26. Running time is 1 hour and tickets are $25 and are available at Telecharge.com and NightoftheButterfly.com.

Night of the Butterfly is a hilarious and poignant new family musical flapping its way to Off-Broadway this spring. Though Beetle was born with broken wings, his head is in the clouds as he yearns to break free from the humdrum world he was born into. Now that he is suddenly being forced to marry the pompous Sylvia Scarab Beetle (you know, of the North Swamp Scarab Beetles?), Beetle has decided he will go on an adventure to find a fallen butterfly. Along with his pals, Pill, a very neurotic caterpillar and Scorpy, a newly vegetarian scorpion, Beetle makes his way through the forest, searching for butterflies and adventures and now families all over New York can come on the journey too.

Night of the Butterfly will feature Evan Greene (Beetle), Zack Friedman (Pill), Dan Kitrosser (Scorpy) and Sheira Feuerstein (Mama Beetle, Sylvia, Butterfly).
