Teresa K. Pond (Director) has helmed premiere productions and readings with The Women’s Project Theatre. New York credits include NYC Fringe Festival award-winning premiere HALF LIFE. Regional credits include MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (Loft Theatre, NY), MACBETH, TARTUFFE (Studio Theatre, CA). THE CLEAN HOUSE, NICKEL AND DIMED (Western Stage, CA), THE FOREIGNER, PERFECT WEDDING (Millbrook Theatre, PA), SYLVIA and SHAKESPEARE IN HOLLYWOOD (Cyrano’s Theatre, AK). Ms. Pond has also directed several operas, including: SUOR ANGELICA, PAGLIACCI (Anchorage Opera), BARBER OF SEVILLE (Bleecker Street Opera), AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS. She is a member of The Lincoln Center Directors’ Lab, The Women’s Project Directors Forum, and co-leader of the NYC playwright-director company NewShoe. Current Productions include: CAROLINE OR CHANGE (Cyrano’s Theatre, AK) and RICHARD III with New York Classical Theatre in Central Park. She is also proud member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).
