Secrets of a Soccer Mom,
written by Kathleen Clark and directed by Judith Ivey, officially opened on Wednesday,
March 5 at The Snapple Theater Center (Broadway at 50 Street)
The production stars Caralyn Kozlowski, Nancy Ringham &
Deborah Sonnenberg; and began previews Sunday, February 9.
"In the play, three women leave their traditional spot on
the sidelines to play in the annual mother-son soccer game. This ordinary day
becomes extraordinary as the competition ignites their fierce desire to
recapture their spirit, humor and passion.
Secrets of a Soccer Mom takes
a look at a part of life that is rarely explored on stage. It speaks to
everyone, no matter age or gender, in attempting to answer that age old
question: how in the world did I wind up here?" describe press notes.
