Producer Daryl Roth is proud to present the musical DEAR EDWINA, a holiday favorite with critics and audiences alike, returning for its third season to the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street, NYC) for a limited run beginning Friday, December 17, 2010, playing through Friday, February 25, 2011. This musical comedy for all ages is written by Zina Goldrich (music) and Marcy Heisler (book and lyrics) and is directed by Timothy McDonald.

"I'm so thrilled to bring the show back this season and love that it has become a New York holiday
tradition. It's rare to find a show that parents and grandparents enjoy as much as the children they bring," Roth said.

DEAR EDWINA is a heartwarming show about the joys of growing up. The show's heroine, Edwina Spoonapple, is an advice-giver extraordinaire, like a spunky, singing version of Dear Abby. Told through a show-within-a-show format, Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from
trying new foods to making new friends through clever, catchy and poignant songs. It's "Glee" for
kids, but adults will love it just as much as the children they bring!

DEAR EDWINA opened in December 2008 and was nominated for two Drama Desk Awards. The
show also played a limited run in December 2009. The full creative team returns for this
engagement and includes Steven G. Kennedy (Choreography), Court Watson (Scenic Design),
Kathryn Furst (Lighting Design), Theresa Squire (Costume Design) and Joe Kinosian (Music Director).

The cast of DEAR EDWINA includes Beth Cheryl Tarnow (Edwina), Katie Whetsell (Kelli), Judith Dry (Annie), Noah Zachary (Scott), Jared Picone (Bobby), David McDaniel (Billy), Christopher Brasfield (Swing/Dance Captain), Katy Vaughn (Swing), Martin Landry (Pianist/Joe Spoonapple) and Robin Lai (Drums/Myron Spoonapple).

Tickets for DEAR EDWINA are $39.00 and are available on Telecharge.com, by calling 212-239-6200, or in person at the DR2 Theatre box office (103 East 15th Street). Tickets are also available for groups (10 or more) and birthday and holidays parties (20 or more), with party space available, and can be purchased by calling 646-747-7400.
