Lisa, a fiery sexpot infatuated with trains, awakens three best friends to the possibilities of love. Chasing Lisa through the underground labyrinth of New York City's subway tunnels, a grieving Jeff finds comfort in the exhilaration of dodging the third rail. Meanwhile, Martin and Jennifer explore their own electricity through their obsession with the Yankees. This urban love story, filled with late arrivals and missed connections, examines everyday characters in extraordinary circumstances. Are they willing to travel to the end of the line for love?

The production features Paul Bomba, Curran Connor, Veronique Ory, and Briana Pozner.

The design team includes Julia Noulin-Mérat (scenic design); Charles Forster (lighting design); Lara de Bruijn (costume design); Jeremy S. Bloom (sound design). The fight choreographer is Robert "Tink" Tuftee. Molly Marinik is the dramaturg. Casting is by Judy Bowman.

Benjamin Kamine (director) is a stage director from Los Angeles. Recent directing credits include Job (The Flea Theater), The Flying Latke by Arthur Yorinks (The Flea Theater), the world premieres of Wars and Whores by Jeffrey Barg and Sarah Ollove (Philly Fringe Pick) and Gutter Space by Keith Boynton (Brick Theater). He directed the west coast premiere of The Gift Horse by Lydia R. Diamond (Stick Fly) and his cross-cultural production of Sophocles' Philoctetes went to India in 2008. Kamine received the StageSceneLA Award for Outstanding Direction of a Comedy-Drama in 2010 for his production of Seascape with Sharks and Dancer by Don Nigro. He is a Resident Director at both the Flea Theater and the Jewish Plays Project and is a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab. He also works throughout New York as a sound, lighting, and projection designer, and is a Guest Artist at the Lab School for Collaborative Studies.

Paul Bomba (playwright) is a Brooklyn-based playwright and actor. The Man Under represents his first full-scale production on a New York stage. Paul is also managing and producing director of Animus Theatre Company, and produced Where's My Money? by John Patrick Shanley at the Cherry Lane in January 2012. Paul has appeared at Theatre Row (with Athena Theatre Company), the Metropolitan Playhouse (where he was recognized as "especially skillful" by The New York Times), the Algonquin Theater, Off-Broadway and all over the country in Tony 'N Tina's Wedding. Paul has appeared on Rescue Me and One Life to Live.
