York Theatre Company Presents A CONVERSATION WITH ANNE KAUFMAN, 3/4

The York Theatre Company, as part of its Winter 2013 Musicals in Mufti Series, presents A Conversation with Anne Kaufman, a one-night only special event on Monday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Daughter of legendary George S. Kaufman -- who is considered by many to be Broadway's greatest comic dramatist and certainly the most successful playwright of the 1920s and 1930s -- Anne Kaufman will join Jim Morgan for a one-on-one conversation about the Kaufman legacy. George S. Kaufman authored two of the presentations (Hollywood Pinafore and Silk Stockings) in the current Winter 2013 Musicals in Mufti Series. Join the York Theatre Company at 7:00 p.m. on March 4th for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and celebrate an evening that will be full of history, laughter, and little gems from the Golden Age of Musical Theatre.

The York Theatre Company continues the Winter 2013 Musicals in Mufti Series with Hollywood Pinafore Or The Lad Who Loved a Salary, with book & lyrics by George S. Kaufman and music by Sir Arthur Sullivan, now in rehearsal. Directed by Mark Kaufmann and with music direction by Beth Falcone, the cast will feature Susan Blommaert, Claybourne Elder, Jennifer Evans, Sara Jean Ford, Tom Galantich, Julie Kotarides, Dennis Parlato, Andrew Ragone, Kilty Reidy, Danny Rutigliano and Mary Stout. The limited engagement will play 5 performances only, March 1 -3, 2013 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's.
