Cast of SILENCE THE MUSICAL to Appear at Barnes & Nobles, 2/23

Brent Barrett, Jenn Harris and the entire cast of Silence! The Musical are set to take the stage at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble next Thursday, February 23rd at 5 PM to perform selections from the parody of the classic film The Silence of the Lambs. The Musical Director for the event will be Brian J. Nash, and the cast will sign copies of the show's newly released CD afterwards. (more...)

The new, highly provocative TV commercial for this season's smash hit, Silence! The Musical, is set to being airing today on most major networks. Silence! Silence! The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli, is set to begin a new winter playing schedule beginning January 12th at The 9th Space Theatre at Performance Space 122, 150 First Avenue (at 9th St.) Silence! The Musical opened July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, led by David Cote of Time Out and New York 1 News who said, "Pungent, punchy and raunchy, with a sheepish chorus to boot, the consummately silly SILENCE! will leave you stuffed and wanting mutton more."
