This past weekend, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark hosted a special Mother's Day themed Everyday Hero, this time honoring Cathy Fritea, a mother who lost her first-born son. Out of her grief, she started the Angels Fund charity, which helps comfort grieving parents who have lost a child. Photo Flash: Cambodian Shadow Puppet Troupe Wat Bo Visits SPIDER-MAN

The master puppeteers, dancers, and musicians of Cambodia's premiere Shadow Puppet Troupe, Wat Bo-in New York City as part of the citywide Season of Cambodia festival-visited Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off the Darkthis weekend in between performances of their performances of Sor Neakabas (The Magical Arrowhead Dragon) at Brookfield Place, Winter Garden. In honor of the troupe's visit, the Cambodian Flag was waved by the company ofSPIDER-MAN Turn Off the Dark during curtain call, and members of the Shadow Puppet Troupe met with SPIDER-MAN star Reeve Carney backstage for an exclusive meet-and-greet. The first fifty Certified Public Accountants to arrive at the Foxwoods Theatre were given a pair of tickets to the evening's performance. He was awarded the Medal of Honor on February 11th, 2013 by President Barack Obama. It features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy Award-winners Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz), and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger(Underneath The Lintel) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, 'Big Love'). Just yesterday, Reeve Carney and the ensemble Spider-Men signed copies of their 2013-2014 Calendar in the lobby of the Foxwoods Theatre. From November 15 - December 31, 2012 patrons can drop off coats outside the box office at 213 West 42nd Street between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and during show hours on performance days. (more...)

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark has just unveiled a 2013-2014 calendar featuring the talented, athletic men who bring the world's most recognizable super hero to life on Broadway each night with breath-taking aerial stunts and acrobatics. The 14-month calendar made its debut during a segment featuring Reeve Carney ("Peter Parker") and the performers on ABC's "Good Morning America" this morning, November 15 at 8:30 am EST. SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, the record-breaking Broadway spectacular, held a Halloween safety press conference earlier today at the Foxwoods Theatre. Hosted by Spider-Man (Reeve Carney) and the Green Goblin (Robert Cuccioli), also in attendance were members of the "Sinister Six" and two members of New York's Finest. Spider-Man outlined the NYPD's official Halloween Safety Recommendations to remind parents and guardians of trick-or-treaters ways to help ensure a safe Halloween experience.
