SESSION, written and performed by Diana Arnold, will play Theatre Row on Saturday, November 10th at 2:00 pm as part of the United Solo Theatre Festival.

Arnold follows up her last show, "86'd," which used the restaurant industry as a venue to discuss her father's life and death, with a solo exploration of her mother.

Written and performed almost entirely in poetic direct address as part of 2012's United Solo Theatre Festival, this play blends the construct of therapy with the conventions of theatre. SESSION explores the levels of honesty that are possible when there is an audience present, and tells the story of familial detachment through the veil of charming self-awareness.

SESSION is one woman's New York City therapy session.
