The Judy Show: My Life As A Sitcom Announces 'To Be Continued' 9/7

The-Judy-Show-My-Life-As-A-Sitcom-Announces-To-Be-Continued-20010101

The Judy Show, starring Judy Gold at the DR2 Theatre (103 E. 15th Street) is about childhood memories. Memories that shape us and memories that help us grow into the people we are today. Beginning after the performance on Wednesday, September 7th, The Judy Show launches "To Be Continued...", a new weekly talkback series where Judy will chat with guests about their childhood anecdotes and memories.

The following guests are scheduled to appear in "To Be Continued....":

September 7th: Susie Essman ("Curb Your Enthusiasm")
September 14th: Kathleen Madigan ("Comedy Central Presents," "Blue Collar Comedy")
September 20st: Tovah Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony)
September 27th:Julie Halston ("Sex and the City", Gypsy)
October 4th: Frank DeCaro (Sirius Radio)

The new Talkback series will give the audience a chance to ask questions and continue the conversation. Judy Gold will interview her guests for a great chat...and a trip down memory lane,

"To Be Continued... is going to be really exciting and it's a fun add-on to the show because thematically, The Judy Show is how my childhood and television sitcoms shaped me into who I am," said Judy Gold. "The talkbacks will open the whole thing up so it's not just about my stories but about everyone's stories. And I have great mandel bread and carrot pudding recipes to share."

The Judy Show: My Life As A Sitcom has also announced a new performance schedule, beginning September 13th. Beginning that week, the schedule is as follows:

Tuesday at 7pm
Wednesday at 2pm and 8pm
Thursday at 8pm
Friday at 8pm
Saturday at 2pm and 8pm
Sunday at 3pm

Please check www.JudyGold.com for Jewish Holiday Schedules

Building on the success of her show 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, funny-woman Judy Gold returns to the stage in this hilarious look at her life through the lens of the classic sitcoms of her youth. With multimedia, original music, laughter, and love, Judy shows us how she balances family and ambition with a little help from our favorite TV shows of the Seventies, Eighties, and Nineties.

The Judy Show is written by Judy Gold and Kate Moira Ryan (25 Questions for a Jewish Mother) and features original music by Judy Gold and lyrics by Kate Moira Ryan and Judy Gold. Additional Material is by Eric Kornfeld and Bob Smith.

Directed by Amanda Charlton (Caroline in Jersey, Dissonance), The Judy Show will have scenic and projection design by Andrew Boyce (The People In The Picture, Twelfth Night), lighting design by Joshua Scherr and sound design by Alex Neumann (Driving Miss Daisy, Next Fall).

Tickets for The Judy Show are priced at $65.00 with premium seating available. The Judy Show plays Monday at 8pm. Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday - Friday at 8pm, and Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm.
