The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Carl Forsman, Artistic Director/Wayne Kelton, Executive Director) today announced their 10th anniversary season celebrating the work of Michael Frayn, author of such acclaimed hits as Noises Off and Copenhagen. First will be the US premiere of Alphabetical Order, based on the revised version performed at the Hampstead Theater for their 2009 revival. Mr. Forsman will direct. This will be followed by the 25th Anniversary production of Benefactors this spring.

Next To Normal's Brian d'Arcy James and South Pacific's Kelli O'Hara, who formerly costarred in Broadway's Sweet Smell of Success, are set to star in the Keen Company's world premiere reading of 'And Then I Wrote 'The Music Man' on June 16 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. The reading, part of the company's 10th Annual Benefit, will be directed by Carl Forsman and will feature musical direction and accompaniment by Brian Cimmet.

Primary Stages closed its celebratory 25th Anniversary Season by proudly announcing the naming of its School of Theater in honor of founding board members Marvin and Anne Einhorn last week on April 16. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the ceremony. The school will now be officially known as Primary Stages Marvin and Anne Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA). Twenty-five years after helping to found Primary Stages, Marvin and Anne Einhorn continue to serve the theater company and still report to duty each day at the Primary Stages office. Keir Dullea will make his long-awaited return to the stage in Robert Anderson's I Never Sang for My Father, presented by the Keen Company in association with Wiltsie Bridge Productions, at Theatre Row from March 23 - May 1. Directed by Jonathan Silverstein, I Never Sang for My Father marks the second Anderson play presented by Keen, following the success of its 2007 critically acclaimed production of Tea & Sympathy. Actors Matt Servitto and Marsha Mason will join Dullea on stage for the production.

Keen Company in association with Wiltsie Bridge Productions announced today that Academy Award-nominee Marsha Mason will join previously announced Keir Dullea and Matt Servitto in the upcoming revival of I Never Sang for My Father by Robert Anderson at Theatre Row / The Clurman Theater from March 23 - May 1.

Announcing the Off-Broadway transfer of the madcap comedy, Love Child, written and performed by Daniel Jenkins and Robert Stanton with direction by Carl Forsman and choreography by Tracy Bersley. The zany comedy received its New York premiere at Primary Stages last fall where it garnered rave reviews. Performances begin Friday, October 23, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 3, 2010 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Opening night is set for Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.

Love Child, the acclaimed Off-Broadway madcap comedy written and performed by Daniel Jenkins and Robert Stanton, has special holiday performances on Tuesdays, December 22 & 29 at 8:00 p.m. and Wednesdays, December 23 & 30 at 2:00p.m.

After a successful run this past winter with the Keen Company at the Clurman Theater / Theater Row, Jonathan Hogan and Ron Holgate will reprise their roles in Heroes, by Gerald Sibleyras with a translation by Tom Stoppard and directed by Carl Forsman with the Merrimack Repertory Theatre Company. They will be joined by Ken Tigar, who will be playing the role previously performed by Broadway vet John Cullum in the Theater Row premiere. The production at the Merrick Theatre will run from November 19 through December 13.
