This production marks the return of the remarkable Judy Kaye to A.C.T. in the daring role that earned her a 2006 Tony Award nomination. Kaye last appeared on the A.C.T. stage as Mrs. Lovett in last season's critically-acclaimed production of Sweeney Todd. LUCINDA COXON, author of the critically-acclaimed new play HAPPY NOW?, currently receiving its American premiere at Yale Repertory Theatre, has written the screenplay for The Danish Girl, based on David Ebershoff's novel, which will star Nicole Kidman (who will also produce the film) and Charlize Theron.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents the American premiere of HAPPY NOW? by Lucinda Coxon, directed by Liz Diamond, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is October 30 with performances running through November 15th.

Souvenir, The York's Theatre Company's hit play starring Tony-Award winner Judy Kaye, which has been playing to cheering audiences, has been extended thru January 16, 2005 at the Company's home, The York Theatre at Saint Peter's in the Citigroup Center, 619 Lexington Avenue (at 54th Street). The Daily News wrote, 'Souvenir is hilarious... touching... a remarkable piece of theater.'

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director), in association with Ted Snowdon, will open its 36th season with the world premiere of Souvenir, a play with music starring Tony Award-winner Judy Kaye and noted Broadway conductor Jack Lee, on Friday, November 19 at the Company's home at Saint Peter's, Citigroup Center, 619 Lexington Avenue (at 54th Street). Opening night is scheduled for Wednesday, December 1; the play continues through Sunday, January 2, 2005.
