ABC has announced that it won't be gonging its popular summer series THE GONG SHOW and has renewed it for a second season. Celebrated film and television actor/comedian Mike Myers has finally confirmed the rumor that he is, indeed, the show's host British comedic legend Tommy Maitland.

Witness Uganda - a documentary musical that follows co-creator Griffin Matthews' transformative story establishing UgandaProject, an organization that sponsors the education of ten Ugandan orphans - was the focus of a closed new work reading presented by The ASCAP Foundation at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (The Wallis) in Beverly Hills on Monday, September 11. Bobby Conte Thornton (A BRONX TALE) and Laurel Harris (WICKED, BEAUTIFUL) are among the stars who will lend their talents to Broadway Sings for Equality, a benefit concert which will raise money for Immigration Equality. Hosted by Larry Owens and Natalie Walker, the concert will take place on Monday, June 19 at 7:30pm at The Cutting Room in New York City.
