BILL W. & DR. BOB Returns to Minneapolis, 3/13-4/6

BILL W. & DR. BOB makes its third appearance on the Illusion stage in an updated production - new leads, a new design (set & lighting) and original music composed and played by Roberta Carlson - before embarking on a statewide tour. Bill W. & Dr. Bob, the remarkable, humorous and true story set around the lives and-more importantly-the friendship of Bill W. (Jim Cunningham) and Dr. Bob (Stephen D'Ambrose), is at the Illusion in March for a limited-run engagement, and tours Minnesota March 13-April 6.

When audiences repeatedly request a beloved play, theaters may try to comply within a few years or so. But when the BILL W. & DR. BOB cast told Director Michael Robins that they would 'make their schedules work' if Illusion Theater would remount the 2009 show, Producing Directors Bonnie Morris and Robins knew they had to bring back the inspirational production.

'90210' Alums Perry & Priestley Join Hallmark's 'Goodnight for Justice' Original TV Movie

'Beverly Hills, 90210' stars Luke Perry ('A Fine Step,' 'A Gunfighter's Pledge') and Jason Priestley ('Call Me Fitz,' 'Expecting A Miracle') reunite for the Hallmark Movie Channel Original, 'Goodnight For Justice,' which will premiere on the network in 2011. Luke Perry is an executive producer and the lead star of the film about a boy in the American Old West who witnesses an act of murderous violence that claims the lives of his parents and an influential public official. Affected by the memory of the slain official's grandeur and eloquence, the boy grows up to be an arbiter of law, a Circuit Judge, hell-bent on justice. Jason Priestley is set to direct the film, based on material developed by Luke Perry, which goes into production August 4 in Vancouver, B.C.

LET THEM SHINE, a new 'Hallmark Hall of Fame' presentation starring Emily VanCamp ('Brothers & Sisters,' 'Everwood'), has started production in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for broadcast on the CBS Television Network. Inspired by a true story, this movie is about a 24-year-old first-time teacher who overcomes her initial fears and prejudices and makes a difference in the lives of the homeless children she teaches in a shelter's makeshift classroom.
