Lake Tahoe Dance Collective (LTDC) presents the tenth annual Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, which will take place this summer from July 27-29, 2022 at venues in Tahoe City and Truckee, CA for in-person audiences. Tickets start at $25 and are available online at laketahoedancecollective.org. Portions of the event will also be available for free online viewing on the company’s website from Saturday, July 30 through Tuesday, August 2.

Actors' Theatre presents Hamlet, 1603 by William Shakespeare, directed by Sarah Neville, May 26 - June 19, 2022 at Schiller Park Amphitheatre.

The comedy focuses on the relationship between young, wild Toni and her older, married lover Julian, a dentist. Convinced the two have no future together, Toni attempts suicide, and a guilt-ridden Julian rashly proposes he leave his wife so the couple can be together. However, Julian has never revealed to Toni that his 'marriage' is actually an elaborate lie concocted to keep Toni at arm's length. Toni refuses to break up his household without first meeting and talking with Julian's soon-to-be-ex, so Julian enlists the aid of his shy spinster assistant Stephanie to pose as his non-existent wife. Complications arise when Toni decides the two must find her a new beau so everyone concerned can live happily ever after. Take a trip back to the groovy 60s! Lake Tahoe Dance Collective enters its ninth year of presenting the Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, which will take place this summer from July 27-30, 2021 at 6pm at venues in Tahoe City and Truckee, CA for in-person audiences.

Mortimer Brewster is living a happy life! He has a steady job at a prominent New York newspaper, he’s just become engaged, and he gets to visit his sweet spinster aunts to announce the engagement. Mortimer always knew that his family had a bit of a mad gene -- his brother believes himself to be Teddy Roosevelt and his great-grandfather used to scalp Indians for pleasure -- but his world is turned upside down when he realizes that his dear aunts have been poisoning lonely old men for years! When Mortimer’s maniacal brother, Jonathan. (who strangely now resembles Boris Karloff) returns on the night that the aunts were planning to bury the newest victim, Mortimer must rally to help his aunts and protect his fiancé -- all while trying to keep his own sanity as well. An uproarious farce on plays involving murder, Arsenic and Old Lace has become a favorite amongst regional theatres throughout America. The dancers filmed themselves in locations around the country, all sharing the same yearning for the joyful return of live performances in front of an audience.

With Broadway performances on hold since March 12, 2020 and ballet companies on hold, the entire dance community looks forward to resuming performances and welcoming audiences safely back into the magical world of live dance and theater.  We all need “Somebody to Dance For!”

Lake Tahoe Dance Collective is entering its eighth year of presenting the Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, which will take place online this summer from July 22-24, 2020. The festival has presented over 35 works with more than 25 guest artists and 44 local dancers since 2013.

Tony award-winning producers of Moulin Rouge!, Jagged Little Pill, The Other Josh Cohen, and Angels in America host a Producing 106 class for current and aspiring producers.

On May 14th, Musicals From Home will release a virtual production of the new musical Peter(Her)Pan, a new Neverland. Musicals from Home, created in response to COVID-19 by Broadway actors Kirsten Wyatt (Annie) and Ben Liebert ( Fiddler in Yiddish), affords actors of all ages to continue performing from the safety of their own homes.
