Irish Repertory Theatre has announced its first ever Online Summer Season. This summer will feature three of Irish Rep's most beloved recent productions reimagined for the screen and filmed remotely for limited release as part of A Performance on Screen.

Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciarán O'Reilly, Producing Director) has announced the full cast & creative team for A Touch of the Poet by Eugene O'Neill and directed by Ciarán O'Reilly (Dublin Carol). Performances will begin on the Francis J. Greenberger Mainstage on March 25, 2020, with opening night set for April 5, for a run through May 10, 2020.

The Pond is currently playing host to the world premiere of The Naturalists by Irish playwright Jaki McCarrick who is making her own New York debut with the company. The production is largely successful in its goals, scarring the range of emotions as the audience gets a glimpse into the quiet yet troubled lives of a group Irish people living in the countryside.

THE SEAFARER, written by Conor McPherson (Shining City) and directed by Ciaran O'Reilly (The Emperor Jones), began performances on March 30, 2018 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, and will now run through May 24, 2018.

The 9th annual Origin's 1st Irish Festival is announcing today that New York's the cell has earned the most nominations (five in all), for its critically acclaimed production of 'Crackskull Row.'

?Origin's 1st Irish 2016 in New York will be bringing to the stage APPENDAGE, a black comedy drama by New York-based Dublin-born playwright, Derek Murphy, directed by Joseph Hendel.  The show will play 4 performances as part of 1st Irish's Next Generation series at Nancy Manocherian's the cell, 338 W 23rd St, New York, NY 10011 (bet 8th & 9th Aves). September 28 - October 2, 2016.

Comedy in many varieties will be the common refrain of the 8th annual Origin's 1st Irish Festival running from September 2 to October 4. In all seven mainstage productions seen in competition (4 US premieres, 3 world premieres), plus seven special events out-of-competition will make up the five-week, month-long festival.

Urbanite Theatre, a new Florida-based non-profit, inaugurates an innovative producing model this summer in New York by bringing back Origin Theatre Company's critically acclaimed production of Tim Ruddy's 'The International' returns with its original cast for a three-week encore engagement Off-Broadway from Wednesday July 15 to Sunday August 2 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42nd Street. In all four US premieres and seven world premieres will be seen in the month-long festival running through September 28.

Georganne Aldrich Heller will present Laoisa Sexton's raw, visceral and provocative new play, THE LAST DAYS OF CLEOPATRA, a pitch black comedy set in Dublin, tonight, August 20th through September 7th at Urban Stages, 259 West 30th Street in Manhattan.
