On Thursday 24 January, Birmingham Hippodrome's Patrick Studio will host the fifth edition of the scriptwriting competition awards, Enter.Stage.Write. The evening will mark the culmination of the competition which has been open to entries since July 2023.

 The Millbrook Playhouse presents the opening show of their 60th season, A CLOSER WALK WITH PATSY CLINE, playing from June 2 to June 11 on the Ryan Mainstage. 

The Golden Girls Show! - A Puppet Parody, will stream live from New York City on Saturday, May 21, exclusively on Flymachine. This special event will come from the Theatre Row Theater. Doors will open at 7:30 pm and the stream begins at 8:00 pm.

The Golden Girls Show! - A Puppet Parody is playing a special final engagement in New York through May 29th, 2022.  Performances are taking place at Theatre Row Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street.

Rockefeller Productions announced today that their acclaimed production of The Golden Girls Show! - A Puppet Parody, will play a special final engagement in New York starting on April 29th, 2022, through May 29th, 2022. 

The production team did a great job of making the voices audible and the set inviting to the viewer's eye. There is merchandise to peruse in the lobby and I may be 'dating' myself by saying that the prices are a 'good bargain'. January can be a long and tedious month to put up with, so do yourself a favor and take in 'That Golden Girls Show: A puppet parody ' at the Orpheum Theater this weekend, you'll be happy to have something to smile about when you recall the days of Winter 2022.

Queens Theatre will bring 'That Golden Girls Show! a puppet parody' to Queens as the venue's first in-person show of 2022. There is no better way to start the new year than laughing with the Golden Girls and celebrating the fabulous Betty White!

The Playhouse’s Andy Christopher from “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story,” Rob McClure from Broadway’s “Mrs. Doubtfire” and Blanche, Sophia, Dorothy and Rose will grace the stage of the iconic Bucks County Playhouse in February when the theatre presents a slate of visiting artists.

Popular theatrical concert series 'Songs From The Shows I Should Have #Booked' is #back with an all new cast! With voices that will make you say 'how are you not playing this on Broadway?.. The 18th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its 2019 lineup of 63 diverse and engaging short films in competition, including 31 world premieres. This year's shorts program includes a cross-section of international and U.S. filmmakers, curated from a record 5131 submissions with female filmmakers directing 45% of the selections. The short films will be presented in 11 distinct competition programs, consisting of six narrative, four documentary, and one animation program. There will also be special screening programs for the annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival and the debut of shorts from The Queen Collective, a program aimed at accelerating gender and racial equality behind the camera. The 2019 shorts lineup is programmed by Sharon Badal and Ben Thompson. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.

Sam Shepard's 1983 black comedy 'True West' comes to life with Elite Theatre Company's searing portrayal of two brothers at war with one another. One is a struggling screenwriter, the other a parasitic bully. When the two clash, their personalities merge until you can't tell one from the other. Aaron Gardner and Sean Mason star in this devastating satire of Hollywood wannabes and a dysfunctional family relationship that runs amuck.

Channel 4 is partnering with AMC as co-producer of LOADED, an eight-part series that follows four tech entrepreneurs and childhood friends who become multi-millionaires overnight.
